1. Commitment & Refund Policy
All training services are custom-tailored to your dog’s individual needs. After the first session, should you decide to continue, the full training plan will be considered active and no refunds will be issued.

The first lesson is a no-commitment introduction. A deposit is required to secure your spot, but you are not obligated beyond that session.
If you are not satisfied with the first session, simply notify Jack at the end of the appointment. We will cancel the remaining invoice and end services with no further obligation.
Once you commit beyond the first session, we are equally committed. Your custom training plan begins immediately, and refunds are no longer available.

2. Communication & Outside Advice
To ensure the best results for your dog:

All training is designed specifically for you and your dog. If you have questions or are unsure about anything, please contact Jack directly before seeking advice elsewhere.
Looking up training tips from YouTube, other trainers, or forums may conflict with your program and slow or interrupt progress. Consistency is key.
Your dog deserves a unified approach, and we’re here to support that.

3. Pricing, Promotions & Travel Fees

All pricing, packages, and promotions are subject to change without notice.
Travel fees may apply for sessions outside Hamilton, Mississauga, or Etobicoke. You’ll be informed ahead of time if additional charges apply.

4. Transfers in Case of Rehoming

If your dog is rehomed during your program, any remaining sessions may be transferred to the new owner upon request.
Refunds will not be provided under any circumstances.

5. Liability Waiver

You, the client, are solely responsible for your dog’s behaviour at all times.
While we take all reasonable steps to ensure a safe and positive experience, Jack Donovan and The Dog Coach are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage resulting from participation in training sessions.
This includes damage to persons, property, or other animals caused by your dog.

6. Cancellations & Rescheduling

A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a session.
Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be forfeited at the trainer’s discretion.
Emergencies will be handled with understanding and flexibility when possible.

7. Results Disclaimer

Dog training is a shared responsibility between the trainer and the client.
While we are dedicated to supporting your success, results vary depending on your dog, the effort you put in, and how consistently the plan is followed.
As such, specific outcomes cannot be guaranteed.

8. Media Use & Social Sharing

We occasionally take photos or videos of training sessions to share tips, celebrate progress, or promote our services.
If you do not wish to have your dog’s image or video used for social media, advertising, or educational content, please let us know in writing.

By participating in training services, you acknowledge and accept the above terms and conditions.
